Often the adult children of seniors work and are “sandwiched” between caring for their own children living at home and their aging parents. Personally overseeing the day-to-day care of a parent or other older loved one can become a real emotional and financial challenge, particularly over the long distances common in our mobile society.

Proudly owned by the Patel family now, Nightingale Senior Care was founded in 2012 when Ellen Busch, a dietitian with a background in public health and health care administration, decided that starting a home care agency would be a fulfilling and rewarding endeavor for her and her husband, Jim, which it turned out to be. In 2015, they passed the company on to Pramod & Sonia Patel. Our mission is to provide the best care for our clients by doing everything we can to care for our caregivers. Our motto is that we care for two people, our caregivers and our clients. Care is a circle and our caregivers are on the same levels as our clients, we treat our caregivers with respect and dignity so they feel empowered to do everything humanly possible to go the extra mile for our clients.

Nightingale Senior Care employs carefully-screened professional caregivers to help older and disabled adults with such daily activities as bathing, dressing, preparing meals, running errands and appointments, medication reminders, and to provide compassionate companionship to ease loneliness and isolation. Professional caregivers allow the family to enjoy one another’s company without the awkwardness of the adult/child role reversal.
